Barry's Trading Post

Yale has been home to the Barry family since the Gold Rush and have carried on the tradition of storekeeping for many generations. Throughout the 1930s to 1950s the family owned and operated a local Red & White Store, and currently manage Barry's Trading Post in Yale.

Today, the store is a local gathering place where news is shared and stories told. It also houses the families First Nation basketry collection, which was collected by Lily and Judge Ed Barry.
